MSc Candidate Department of
Geological
Sciences and Geological Engineering baird@students.geol.queensu.ca I am working on the Ontario part of the POLARIS (Portable Observatories for Lithospheric Analysis and Research Investigating Seismicity) project. My research focuses on using geomechanical models of the lithosphere in southern Ontario to better understand the fundamental likages between regional geology and seismicity. The models incorporate geological constraints as well as new experimental results from the POLARIS geophysical data. Presentations: Baird,
