My research interests include the hydrogeology of
clay-rich, unlithified deposits (aquitards) as well as the interaction between
groundwater and lakes.
Research on aquitards focuses on the hydraulic properties, the presence or absence
of hydraulically-conductive fractures, the rates of tracer migration and on the hydrochemistry of unlithified deposits.
Groundwater - lake interaction research involves the use of naturally
occurring groundwater tracers
including stable isotopes of water, major ions, minor ions and trace gases.
