Dr. McBride's research focuses on geochronology:
40Ar/39
Ar dating of plutons, metamorphic rocks and gold
mineralization of the Superior and Grenville Provinces.
40Ar/39Ar dating of
paleozoic basement rocks, tertiary volcanics and their associated ore deposits
from the Pampean and Famatina Ranges, Argentina.
