The Miller Museum features a large gallery of minerals, ores and fossils from around the world. Learn about the Geology of the Kingston Area in an extensive exhibit, see beautiful mineral samples, learn about dinosaurs and much more during a self-guided visit to this museum in the Department of Geological Sciences and Geological Engineering at Queen's University (no admission charge).

For groups of 10 or more people (maximum 30), hands-on educational programs are offered (booked at least 1 week in advance) for a fee of $70/group (2016-2017). Visit the Educational Programs page for a list of available topics.

The museum is open on weekdays only, from 8:30am - 4:30pm. By special appointment, the museum can open at other times for group programs. Directions to the Museum

The museum is located in Miller Hall in the Department of Geological Sciences and Geological Engineering at Queen's University. From the 401, exit at Division St and follow it south until it ends at Union Street. The directly across from the end of Division is Miller Hall, at 36 Union Street.

Parking

Unfortunately the museum does not have dedicated parking spots. Visitors must park along Union Street and purchase "pay and display" permits from the vending machines next to the sidewalk. In 2016, the cost is $1.50/hr. There is also an underground parking garage at the corner of University Avenue and Stuart Street.
